During your stay

Holiday park Broedershoek is located in the countryside 2 kilometres from the Zeeland coast (Dishoek).

When you leave the car park, turn left. After 2 kilometers, you go right and then left, you can leave your car in the carpark and walk towards the dunes. After a short walk over the dunes (it’s a bit steep) you can enjoy the sea and beach.

The village of Koudekerke is 1 km away. When you leave the car park, turn right and then left. At the roundabout with the giant shell, go straight ahead. Then take the first left and you are on the village square. Here you will find a number of café-restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, a hairdresser and the Michaels Church.

Reception

At the reception you can find, among other things, sheets and towel packages, bicycles and washing and dryer tokens. Of course we are happy to give you advice about day trips, festivals and local attractions a day out. In the information bookshelf you will also find the up-to-date information about, for example, markets and festivities in the surrounding towns and villages.

In the reception is a first aid kit. Reception opening hours can be found at the door. For things that can't wait, you can ring the bell via the intercom. We are available 24 hours a day. Next door is an AED.

Your arrival and stay

What are the arrival and departure times

The bungalow you have rented will be completely clean and technically in order upon your arrival. Please feel free to check the inventory list on arrival and report any irregularities directly to the reception. If you are receiving a visit or an overnight guest, please register them at the reception? Please note that it is not allowed to stay in the bungalow with more than the permitted number of people. Your bungalow is equipped with a 'smart' thermostat, for the central heating. The display shows the actual room temperature. As soon as you touch one of the keys, it indicates the set temperature. You can then use the buttons themselves to set the temperature higher or lower to a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius..

Free Wifi

You can use the wireless internet throughout the park. Upon arrival, you will receive a personal code with which you can log in with 4 devices at the same time. Please note, if you switch devices, it will take about 2 hours before the new device can log in.

Activities and snack bar.

For young & old

During the summer months ( July / August ) the Full House recreation room is open in the evening. The opening hours can be found outside on the sign. Guests can enjoy a meal or a drink at the bar. There are various games to be found, such as billiards, chess and pinball. On Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays, activities are organized for all ages. At the beginning of the week we announce which activities will be organized that week.

The go-karts are free to use for children up to 12 years of age. Every evening the go-karts need to be parked at the reception around 18:00. They are put inside for the night.

For our disabled guests

The holiday park has access to a wheelchair bike. There are also possibilities for renting an electric wheelchair bike. At the reception we will be happy to help you. Do you want to go to the beach? On the boulevard of Vlissingen you can easily reach the beach with the walker or wheelchair. Beach Dishoek has the service that you will be transferred the dunes with a beach vehicle. Please ask at the reception for the contact details. Also at the beach of Zoutelande you can easily reach the beach with the walker or wheelchair via the Duinweg / het Pauwtje beach access. There is a disabled parking space and toilet

On departure

You have rented a bungalow including final cleaning. This means that you can leave the bungalow 'broom clean'. What do we specifically ask of you?

1. Sweep the bungalow

2. Only if you have rented bed linen, remove it from the beds and put it at the entrance of your bungalow. The blue fitted sheet can be left on the beds.

3. Empty the dishwasher and place the crockery and cutlery clean and properly sorted in the kitchen.

4. If you have rented several bungalows, we ask you to return the crockery and cutlery in the right bungalow (quantities as stated in inventory list).

5. Dispose of the waste bags, bottles and paper/cardboard in the appropriate dumpster. A BBQ that you do not want to take home must be placed next to the containers (due to a fire risk).

6. Put the garden furniture back as you found it on arrival. Any damage or loss of garden furniture or inventory will be deducted from the deposit.

7. Hand in the key before 10:00 at the reception or deposit it in the mailbox at the reception.

If you do not meet one of the above points, we can deduct this from your deposit.

Garbage and recycling

Help protect the environment!

You can dispose of your waste in the waste/recycle bins which are located in the parking area.

Please separate your garbage as follows:

Glass
Paper & Cardboard
PMD (plastic/ tins & drink cartons)
Regular waste

If you choose not to take your BBQ home with you, please leave them next to the waste bins. To prevent any risk of fire, BBQ’s are not permitted in any of the waste containers

Barbecue, parties and (garden) furniture

Sea Breeze!

Guests are permitted to BBQ next to their accommodation. Please ensure you do not damage the terrace and/or the grass mat (Fat stains/burns etc). Please contact reception if you have any questions regarding this. Guests are not allowed to have parties in their accommodation and/or take beds/ bedlinen outside.

We would like to remind you that you are staying close to the coast, the weather , especially the wind can change very quickly. We urgently request that you leave your parasol in a safe state/closed when you are not in the Holiday Park.

Bike hire

You can hire bikes via our reception. We have three female bikes (with 3 gears) and also electric bikes, available for rent. If needed you can also hire a child seat or a beach kart. It is possible to hire children’s bikes / mountain bikes and tandems from Rijwielhandel S. Kluifhout

Launderette

Washing / drying and ironing.

Guests can make full use of the laundry facilities at our Holiday Park. We have a washing machine, a dryer and iron and ironing board. You can purchase the necessary tokens at the reception. When using the washing machine, it is not necessary to add any washing powder/gel/pods – this happens automatically during the wash cycle.

How does the laundry door open? You will find the code to open the door in your arrival documents.

Daily bread delivery.

Only available in July and August!

In the summer months guests can order fresh bread daily. Order your bread each morning at the reception, you then collect your delicious bread order the next morning. All our bread comes direct from our local baker, Koppejan in the village. It couldn’t be any easier or closer by!
